Understanding block explorers: turning on-chain records into research clues

Start with clear questions

Block explorers are tools for viewing data on the chain. Before using it, make sure whether you want to check account activities, transaction results or contract information to avoid losing the research objectives in a large number of records.

Distinguish between recording and interpretation

Keep the found records and source networks separately from your own explanations. The data on the chain provides clues, but the business meaning still needs to be understood in conjunction with the project documents; there is no rush to make up conclusions on some reserved issues that have not yet been confirmed.
